Audiences

We want you to have a theatre where you can watch first class performances in comfort, with air conditioning, enough legroom and without a pillar in your way!

Disabled Patrons

We want our patrons with disabilities to be able to experience the Bristol Old Vic as a place that is easily accessible, welcoming and comfortable to visit. A considerable amount of the refurbishment works will include lifts for disabled actors and customers, increased space for wheelchairs and other elements to enhance disabled access to the building.

Eating and Drinking

We want you to have a place where you can have a drink and something to eat in comfortable, interesting surroundings.

Education

We want our education department to teach, workshop and perform in state of the art facilities.

We want to give Bristol a building that is fit for purpose as a hub of quality and diversity for theatre in Bristol.
Our new vision for Bristol Old Vic has evolved from a consultation process involving artists, audiences, Theatre Bristol and stakeholders as well as Trustees and staff.
